What We're Seeking:

Cunning Media is looking to expand our extraordinary team of Edit Assistants! We're currently seeking individuals with an intermediate skill set, experienced in syncing and grouping within Avid Media Composer.

 

Don't worry if you're not familiar with our specific workflows - we'll provide comprehensive training prior to your start date. You'll also become part of our supportive Cunning Media Edit Assistant network.

 

Job Description:

• Assist with editing on a diverse range of shows throughout the year

• Remote or in-house work options are available

• Thrive in a fast-paced multi-camera environment, including syncing and grouping

• Manage efficient workflows

• Troubleshoot technical issues

• Provide support across multiple edits

 

We're eager to hear from candidates with the following qualities:

• Minimum of 1+ years of industry experience with Avid Media Composer

• Passion for the role and a hunger for learning and progression

• Excellent communication skills

• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn

 

Training and Opportunities:

• Shadow experienced DITs on shoots, gaining valuable experience as Data Wranglers and DITs, and exploring other roles like Camera Assisting

• Shadow edits and gain hands-on editing experience

• Software training in DaVinci, Avid, Premiere Pro, and more

• Tailored DIT and Data Wrangling kit training

• Engage in team-building activities within our supportive work culture
